En concreto, se trata de los motores Gamma 1.4 MPi y 1.6 MPi, tambi\u00e9n conocidos como CVVT (distribuci\u00f3n variable de v\u00e1lvulas). Con la introducci\u00f3n de la normativa Euro 6, se les dio el apodo de &quot;Blue&quot;. La principal ventaja de estos motores es la inyecci\u00f3n indirecta, gracias a la cual evitan la carbonizaci\u00f3n. Los motores Gamma de cuatro cilindros del i30 de segunda generaci\u00f3n cuentan con una cadena de distribuci\u00f3n duradera (aunque en la primera generaci\u00f3n presentaba problemas ocasionales), si bien no son completamente infalibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Especialmente en veh\u00edculos fabricados al inicio de la producci\u00f3n, pueden presentarse problemas con la desintegraci\u00f3n del n\u00facleo del catalizador de arranque. Sus fragmentos pueden ser aspirados de nuevo al motor a trav\u00e9s de la recirculaci\u00f3n de gases de escape y causar da\u00f1os en la unidad de potencia (por ejemplo, rotura de la capa deslizante de los cilindros, gu\u00edas de v\u00e1lvulas, variador de velocidad, etc.). En esta generaci\u00f3n, existen pocos veh\u00edculos afectados y el problema suele manifestarse al usar combustible de baja calidad y, sobre todo, al conducir frecuentemente a bajas velocidades. Sin embargo, s\u00ed presentan problemas de acumulaci\u00f3n de dep\u00f3sitos de carbono, especialmente en trayectos cortos. Asimismo, es cierto que los trayectos cortos pueden acelerar el desgaste del aceite del motor. Esto resulta particularmente grave si el intervalo de cambio de aceite se establece en 30.000 km o dos a\u00f1os. Ambos utilizan el sistema de inyecci\u00f3n common-rail de Bosch y cuentan con un filtro de part\u00edculas. Normalmente, el filtro no presenta problemas. Sin embargo, si el propietario del veh\u00edculo no permite que se complete la regeneraci\u00f3n mediante su uso, el filtro puede obstruirse y su reemplazo resulta costoso. Para una regeneraci\u00f3n exitosa, es necesario mantener una conducci\u00f3n constante a una velocidad m\u00ednima de 2000 rpm durante al menos 20 minutos. Quienes conducen principalmente en ciudad tendr\u00e1n dificultades para cumplir estas condiciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.6 GDI\/T-GDI\/99\/137 kW: La versi\u00f3n de inyecci\u00f3n directa de aspiraci\u00f3n natural del motor de 16 cilindros no ofrece grandes ventajas (en comparaci\u00f3n con la versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s sencilla sin inyecci\u00f3n directa), mientras que la variante turboalimentada ofrece un rendimiento mucho mejor. Sin embargo, no es del todo econ\u00f3mica y a\u00fan presenta problemas de carbonizaci\u00f3n y lubricaci\u00f3n deficiente en trayectos cortos. Si tuvi\u00e9ramos que elegir inyecci\u00f3n directa, preferir\u00edamos la versi\u00f3n T-GDI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.4\/1.6 MPi (CVVT)\/Azul\/73\/88 kW: Estos motores atmosf\u00e9ricos con inyecci\u00f3n indirecta pertenecen a una generaci\u00f3n anterior. Para lograr un mejor rendimiento, se necesitan mayores revoluciones, especialmente con el motor m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o. Por otro lado, la caja de cambios de seis velocidades es una ventaja en ambos motores, mientras que el motor m\u00e1s grande tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda tener una variante autom\u00e1tica. En las versiones m\u00e1s recientes, los problemas con el convertidor catal\u00edtico que se aver\u00eda ya no deber\u00edan ocurrir.
