Especificamente, os motores Gamma 1.4 MPi e 1.6 MPi, tamb\u00e9m conhecidos como CVVT (sigla em ingl\u00eas para comando de v\u00e1lvulas vari\u00e1vel). Com a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o da norma Euro 6, o apelido &quot;Blue&quot; (Azul) surgiu em sua nomenclatura. A principal vantagem desses motores \u00e9 a inje\u00e7\u00e3o indireta, que evita a carboniza\u00e7\u00e3o. Os motores Gamma de quatro cilindros da segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o do i30 possuem uma corrente de distribui\u00e7\u00e3o dur\u00e1vel (que apresentava problemas ocasionais na primeira gera\u00e7\u00e3o), mas n\u00e3o s\u00e3o totalmente perfeitos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principalmente em ve\u00edculos fabricados no in\u00edcio da produ\u00e7\u00e3o, podem ocorrer problemas com a desintegra\u00e7\u00e3o do n\u00facleo do catalisador de partida. Seus fragmentos podem ser aspirados de volta para o motor atrav\u00e9s da recircula\u00e7\u00e3o dos gases de escape e causar danos ao conjunto motopropulsor (por exemplo, ruptura da camada deslizante dos cilindros, guias de v\u00e1lvulas, comando de v\u00e1lvulas vari\u00e1vel, etc.). No entanto, eles apresentam problemas com dep\u00f3sitos de carbono, especialmente quando utilizados em trajetos curtos. \u00c9 verdade tamb\u00e9m que viagens curtas podem levar a um desgaste mais r\u00e1pido do \u00f3leo do motor.
