H\u00e1 sete anos, era poss\u00edvel escolher entre os motores a gasolina 1.0 MPI e 1.2 TSI, al\u00e9m de um motor a diesel de 1.4 litros. Antes da reestiliza\u00e7\u00e3o em 2017, uma ampla gama de motores estava dispon\u00edvel, dando a oportunidade de escolher entre carros usados com design original, equipados com motores que a quarta gera\u00e7\u00e3o do Fabia s\u00f3 poderia sonhar em ter. A Fabia ainda o enviar\u00e1 para uma revis\u00e3o anual, mesmo que voc\u00ea tenha um intervalo de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o estendido definido. Voc\u00ea deve trocar o \u00f3leo com mais frequ\u00eancia, idealmente a cada 15.000 km. O intervalo de 60.000 km para a troca das velas de igni\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 o limite para o TSI (uma troca preventiva a cada 45.000 km \u00e9 melhor).
